Homotoxicology

What is Homotoxicology?

Homotoxicology

Homotoxicology is a modern form of homoeopathy devised by a German doctor, Dr Hans Heinrich Reckeweg, during the 1940s and 50s. He developed a system of homoeopathy using combinations of homoeopathic remedies to bring about healing.

Homotoxicology regards disease as the result of toxins within the organs and tissues, which the body is unable to get rid of. Once the toxins are removed, successful healing can take place. If the toxins are suppressed, they may then go deeper into the body tissues, and this may in time, lead to serious degenerative illnesses.

Homotoxicology is suitable for children and adults.

Are there any side effects?

Many patients find they feel better very quickly after starting their homoeopathic remedies. Others may find their symptoms appear to get temporarily worse. This is part of the healing process as the body expels toxins that are linked to their ill health.

Is homotoxicology safe?

Homotoxicology is widely used in many European countries where it is seen as an established holistic alternative to conventional medicine. Homoeopathy has been practiced for many decades and there is a growing body of scientific evidence to support it.

Can I use homoeopathic remedies if I am taking other medicines?

Yes, homoeopathic remedies work successfully alongside conventional medication. However, if you are taking particular medicines some homoeopathic remedies may need to be avoided.

Homoeopathic Remedies

Treatment is via homoeopathic remedies, taken in water, or in some cases, tablet form. The homoeopathic remedies consist of a mixture of ‘nosodes’ (homoeopathic preparations of Viruses, bacterial infections or parasites), as well as complex homoeopathic preparations formulated to cleanse and detoxify and stimulate healing. Most of the remedies are from HEEL Pharmaceuticals, the largest manufacturer of homoeopathic remedies in the world.
