What is the difference between Osteopaths and Chiropractors
Actually not usually that much from the point of view of the patient. A more useful question is
“how do I spot a good practitioner and how do I spot a not so good practitioner?”
This is of course a difficult question but I heard a great answer recently which centred around education and encouragement. A good therapist will look to explain everything about why they feel you need treatment, will usually prescribe exercises to aid in your recovery, and will generally encourage your own resilience and communicate effectively.
